Sponsor Spotlight: Alker Ball Healds – Supporting Local Businesses Through Change
At Alker Ball Healds, we’re proud of our long-standing connection to Wigan, with roots in the town dating back to 1852. Having recently become a part of Farleys Solicitors, our team continues to offer trusted, accessible legal support to businesses and individuals across the borough and throughout the Northwest.
This year, we’re delighted to sponsor the Manufacturer of the Year Award at Wigan Borough Business Awards 2025, celebrating the innovation and excellence of local manufacturers.
Why we wanted to get involved this year
As we enter an exciting new chapter following our recent merger with Farleys, we felt it was more important than ever to show our support for the business community we’ve been proud to serve for generations. Sponsoring the awards is our way of recognising the incredible businesses that make Wigan thrive, and to reaffirm our commitment to being a part of that success story for years to come.
We understand that recent changes for many businesses can be challenging, but it can also be full of opportunity. Through our sponsorship, we hope to highlight just how much can be achieved when businesses adapt, innovate, and continue to invest in their people and their community – values we hold close at Alker Ball Healds and Farleys.
We’re looking forward to celebrating the achievements of Wigan’s manufacturers and raising a glass to all the brilliant businesses shortlisted across the awards.
