1. Agreement By becoming a sponsor of the Wigan Borough Business Awards (WBBA), you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this document. Sponsorships are only confirmed upon receipt of full payment or written agreement, as applicable.
2. Sponsorship Benefits Details of sponsorship benefits, including logo placement, event tickets, and promotional opportunities, will be outlined in the sponsorship package selected. WBBA reserves the right to amend sponsorship benefits in response to unforeseen circumstances or to improve the quality of the event.
3. Payment Terms Sponsorship fees must be paid in full within 14 days of invoice receipt unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late payments may result in the forfeiture of sponsorship benefits, including logo placements and mentions in promotional materials.
4. Branding and Logos Sponsors must provide high-resolution logos and other necessary branding materials within the deadlines communicated by WBBA. Failure to do so may impact the inclusion of branding in materials such as event programmes, digital assets, and signage.
5. Exclusivity Exclusive sponsorship opportunities will be honoured only where explicitly agreed upon in the sponsorship package. WBBA reserves the right to engage with additional sponsors unless exclusivity is specified in writing.
6. Event Cancellation or Rescheduling In the event of cancellation or rescheduling, WBBA will make every effort to provide comparable benefits to sponsors. Refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis, depending on the nature of the sponsorship agreement and the circumstances of the cancellation or rescheduling.
7. Termination of Sponsorship WBBA reserves the right to terminate the sponsorship agreement in cases where the sponsor’s actions or public image conflict with the values or reputation of WBBA. In such cases, sponsorship fees will not be refunded.
8. Use of Sponsor’s Name and Logo WBBA may use the sponsor’s name and logo for promotional purposes related to the event. Sponsors may request approval of materials in advance but must provide timely feedback to meet production deadlines.
9. Compliance Sponsors must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as any specific guidelines provided by WBBA or the event venue.
10. Liability WBBA is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from a sponsor’s participation in the event, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct on the part of WBBA.
11. Confidentiality Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality regarding any proprietary or sensitive information disclosed during the sponsorship agreement.
12. Amendments WBBA reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions. Sponsors will be notified in writing of any changes, and continued participation in the sponsorship programme will constitute acceptance of the revised terms.
13. Governing Law This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
