Wigan Borough Business Awards
Wigan Borough Business Awards 2026 brought together businesses, organisations and individuals from across Wigan and Leigh for another fantastic celebration of local achievement. Organised by Fubhub, Professionals of Wigan (POW), and ATTAIN, the independently organised and accredited awards recognised the hard work, achievements and contributions of those helping to make Wigan Borough a great place to do business.
From our finalists and winners to the sponsors, partners and supporters who helped make the event possible, WBBA 2026 was an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the people and businesses that contribute so much to our borough.
What another incredible Night!
The Wigan Borough Business Awards 2026 was another fantastic celebration of local business success, welcoming over 430 guests to a completely sold-out event at The Brick Community Stadium!
With 53 finalists across 13 award categories, the evening brought together businesses, organisations and individuals from across Wigan and Leigh to recognise their achievements and contributions to our borough.
Supported by our sponsors, including Headline Sponsor Calisen and Networking Reception Sponsor GM Business Growth Hub, the awards continued to uphold the standards recognised by our Awards Trust Mark Outstanding Accreditation, reflecting our commitment to fairness, transparency and independent judging.
The night was packed with highlights:
13 award categories, recognising the achievements of businesses, charities, apprentices and individuals across Wigan Borough, alongside the prestigious overall Wigan Borough Business of the Year award.
A fantastic atmosphere as our finalists, winners and Highly Commended recipients received recognition for their achievements.
A charity fundraiser, proudly sponsored by Westwood Motor Group, which raised an incredible £3,280 for The Brick, thanks to the generosity of our guests.
Our branded WBBA van, supplied by Westwood Motor Group and branded by Pinnacle Branding, helping us promote the awards.
A fantastic 80s and 90s themed After Party, sponsored by Cowgills, which kept the celebrations going long after the awards had been presented!
An incredible effort from The Brick Community Stadium team, who helped us deliver the event despite Wigan Warriors hosting a home semi-final earlier that same day.
From the networking reception through to the final celebrations on the dance floor, WBBA 2026 was a wonderful opportunity to recognise local achievement, bring businesses together and celebrate another successful year for Wigan Borough Business Awards.
